The eighth staging of the Q.P.S. Open Chess Tournament was held in October 2017. This annual event on the school’s calendar is the brain child of our chess coach Mr. Russell Porter. Over the years the popularity of the Tournament has grown steadily and last year’s staging saw us hosting over 100 students from prep, primary and high schools.
